Huntsman has produced its own house tweeds for over eighty years. These are woven for us on the Isle of Islay, in the Inner Hebrides, Scotland. The Islay Woolen mill was founded in 1550 and is the oldest working mill in Britain. Over the years, our tweeds have been used for shooting suits, sports jackets, suits and caps and are wonder-fully received by our customers. Each season’s crop of tweeds are on the whole bold and distinct, and are instantly recognised by our followers.
Our Tweed has been designed by our team at Huntsman and is available by very limited addition. Inspiration for all five 2012 tweeds came from our archives, and were named after famous British Dukes. Our new 2012 tweeds have arrived.
